R8 alternate:
There was a question of the power rating for R8. I see that I have used 2 pcs 1206 220 Ohm in parallel on the prototype of Munin III. As the layout is for size 1812, I find that by using 3 pcs. 330 Ohm/1206 in parallel, Pn:71-CRCW1206330RFKEAH from Mouser should be perfect. They are 0,75 W each so for all that wants everything to be a bit overrated, this should be perfect! The resulting value for 3x330=110 Ohm is near enough. 73, Kjell

II Heatsink was made from a 4.230"w x 1.050"h extrusion and was 6.3" long

Munin III is about 100mm square [~3.94" sq] so a 4" part
from the same extrusion would now be $5.76 + shipping
Another from Heatsink USA with much higher fins [2.85"] 3.945" x 4" would be
$13.08 + shipping.
